Surfaces

Overview

Surfaces are a basic primitive object type in Rhino/Grasshopper.

Surfaces include:

• Trimmed Surfaces
• Untrimmed Surfaces

BReps are a geometry type in Grasshopper that consist of a collection of trimmed and untrimmed surfaces.

Below is an example of a Surface (a sphere).

Notes

• Surfaces can be assigned materials in Grasshopper using the Packhunt Assign Material component.
